In the spirit of the season

I was shopping the other day and overheard a woman on her cell. I was intrigued enough to listen for a minute:

"…you should lock them in the bathroom. Chain both of them to the toilet until they’re potty trained.”

"… TORTURE! They’re torturing you. What goes around comes around.”

Okay.

I was in a fabric store.

I live in Minnesota.

I don't think this is related to anything specific?

Perfect segue: happy birthday, dear one!

Sad but true. I know we've had some desperate "Will they ever learn how to use the toilet" moments at our house. We always take comfort in the fact that we don't know of any of our friends whose children have moved away from home that weren't potty-trained when they left.

Looking forward to being a student of Denis at Covenant in Jan.

I was hoping she was referring to puppies, not children. Naive?
